Developing Stronger Sales Management Program

There are many 'managers' in the business world, but power and success comes from 'Managers Who Lead'.  They keep your company moving forward and on a growth path.  In sales, they are the managers that year after year lead the teams who bring in the profitable revenue growth.

A new group session of 12 Sales VP's, Directors or Sales Managers will begin January 2011.  Usually this service is offered to only one company at a time working with several managers from that same company.  This new session is offered to sales management from many different companies so everyone can learn from each other the best practices that various companies use as well as receive leadership from Nancy McCarthy, President of DC Rainmakers.

This group will be exhilarating, educational, and effective and provide new management ideas as well as support as a group of sales management professionals.

Participation will be for six months that will include one group session 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Tower Club in Tyson's Corner, VA.  It will also include one- 2 hour, one on one coaching session in person with some phone support throughout the month.

This will be an elite group and membership is not automatic.  Participation is a privilege. Managers desiring to take their game up a few levels will be asked to apply by writing a letter of application on what they want to receive from the session and what they bring to the group.  Attitude is everything.  If someone does not want to accept new ideas and coaching, they simply cannot be coached.  A baseball coach can throw the ball all day and if no one swings the bat there are no home runs to make.

This program will consist of solving real live sales management problems and challenges.  It will include but not be limited to:

What is Your Personal Brand?
Do you have Executive Presence?
How do you hire?
What are the rules for firing at your company?
Are you a leader your team wants to follow?
Are you tough but compassionate?
Can you manage in a collaborative style when possible?
Are you a strong coach to your team?
